I am writing to the Beverly Hills - Rosemont = Del Ray listserv because the owner of the "Rosemont" (rosemontva) listserv repeatedly took down my response to to her own e-mail about the new listserv the Rosemont Citizens Association (RCA) recently established. (Both my e-mail and hers are below.)
I"m confident the new RCA listserv, unlike rosemontva, will never take down an e-mail just because it happens to be about a different neighborhood listserv. To my knowledge, the RCA has never sought to restrict the flow of neighborhood information in any way.

Rosemont neighbors,
To clarify just a bit more, while the Rosemont Citizens Association set up the new, official RCA listserv to facilitate the dissemination of information to Rosemont residents, you, as Rosemonters, are also free to disseminate your own information on it, just as you have done on rosemontva. In addition to receiving RCA notices about neighborhood and city matters, you can use the new listserv for everything from passing on local news and publicizing local organizations and events to asking for recommendations and selling or giving away stuff you don't need anymore.
The new RCA listserv differs from rosemontva only in that one person does not own it. It belongs to all Rosemont neighbors. Every Rosemont neighbor therefore gets a say in how the RCA listserv is run.
If you don't like something about how the RCA listserv is administered, you can come to any RCA meeting and propose to change it. If you wish, you can schedule a vote on your proposal at the subsequent meeting so you and any other neighbors who come to that meeting can decide on it together.
In short, the new RCA listserv belongs to you, so don't hesitate to use it.

Yup. That was my plan B. Picked out one that didn’t seem too big only to find out it was marked as 6’-7’ (for $168! 😳) Luckily I found a cute 5’ one for $120. They were restocking today so lots of good options. Glad my kids don’t get a say about how big my tree should be anymore!

Enjoyed this one, if only to know that people like “Professor Angus Vine, expert in early modern note-taking” exist.
Lots of good notebook history ranging from medieval uses, to the Moleskine, to bullet journaling. Got long at times & I skimmed some sections but on the whole, a good read.
