Not only destroying the East Wing, but continuing the guiding of the West Wing. Notice that the tacky sign saying The Oval Office is printed on paper. And who is this sign for exactly? Does Trump not know where his own office is? This just makes me sick.

Finished reading this powerful book this morning. The description of her time with Epstein and Maxwell, and even before, is just as bad as you would imagine. But the story of her pursuit of justice for herself and the other women/girls who were sexually exploited is a courageous one. I recommend it.

The East Wing is entirely gone, destroyed by a little petulant man. The worst thing to happen to the White House since the British burned it in the War of 1812. (Photo credit Katie Harbath.)

I’m currently reading Virginia Guiffre’s memoir titled Nobody’s Girl. It’s powerful and absolutely gutting. The horrors she endured. I want to encourage everyone to read it. We’ve heard a lot about and from the power people who abused her. We need to do the same for Virginia.

Part of the East Wing of the White House is being demolished today in order to build Trump’s ballroom. Horror after horror. (Photo by The Washington Post.)

Farewell to Jane Goodall who was such a dear friend to apes, and to the rest of us as well. What a legacy.

I have contacted the General Manager of my local ABC affiliate in Richmond — WRIC-TV — which is owned by Nexstar and refusing to air Jimmy Kimmel tonight. Here’s my email. Call your local ABC affiliate if it’s owned by Nexstar and register your own objection.

My heart goes out to the people of Gaza this morning. The continued bombing is an atrocity. We must call it what it is — a genocide.

Miller is laying the precedent for Trump to outlaw all political parties but theirs creating a one-party state. This occurs in every country taken over by authoritarian regimes. Members of such parties frequently end up in concentration camps because they are then considered enemies of the state.
