Every time I go to a museum or gallery and I see a particularly bad work of art:

Man is really on the good shit. He woke up and was like “these tunnels are unconstitutional under the 14th amendment because they’re black”

Had a great time chatting w @jefito.com from @harmonic.fm the other day. 🙏

You don't hear many albums that feature the eight-string bass as a lead instrument, and fewer still that incorporate the mighty hum of the pipe organ. @jefito.com interviewed Peter Kerlin of Animal, Surrender!, discussing their new album (available tomorrow) and creating art honestly.

Yesterday at the Met, a sign the the UN is in session, 8 guards blocking off a radius around some dignitary, wherever he wandered off too people had to clear away. My inner New Yorker indignation kicks in like when a movie shoot blocks off your path on a sidewalk. WHO YHE FUCK ARE YOU?! 😂😡

I think they’re all supposed to look like they’re wearing grotesque masks. I love that she’s a sausage seller too 🌭

a book I started in 1999 and just finished. It was hidden on my shelf until recently I got some smoke bombs and tied firecrackers to little ink filled bags before inserting them between the pages. 🧨- DM for sales inquiries.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with the sexy trunks of a Caucasian Elm and a Japanese Zelkova (both members of the elm family: Ulmaceae) at the always amazing brooklyn botanic garden last weekend 🌳

Exploring how the kids I hung out with shaped who I ended up becoming. I drew this map of my old neighborhood as a kind of case study of my own childhood, with each house and name representing someone who crossed my path growing up.

I made (and sold) a burn book in the 90’s and made another that I never finished. I just found this one and started drawing in it again 🔥 🧨.

these museums are the worst! not a single mention of success or brightness anywhere and there is a horrible whirring fan noise and a loud flushing sometimes and the lights go out if you don’t move in too long and there are no exhibits and someone keeps pounding on the door
