Continues to be hilarious to me that John Parish ranks so highly when my listens to him are exclusively songs from the 2 albums he did with PJ Harvey.

In just over 4 month's of listening.

She finds her way back into my ears a LOT, and assuming that trend stays the same I'll be curious to see how a full year shakes out next year.

I left Spotify for Tidal toward the end of July, and wondered if Tidal had its own version of Wrapped.

Turns out it does, and apparently this is what I'm into:

Different kind of 1%er here, but a 1%er nonetheless. Does that mean we control society now?

I don't know yet if Tidal has a year end thingie since I just joined this past summer, but I also setup a Last.fm account at the same time and here's out it plays out for my time there. Pretty clear the crown is staying put.

Read up more on Alicia Rodriguez, as I hadn't heard of her before, and learned quite a bit about something I know next to nothing about. Love when that happens.

I haven't listened to him much at all but sounds like I should change that.

I'm currently listening to a new album by Haley Heynderickx and Max García Conover called What of Our Nature. ADORE their previous collab (Among Horses III EP), and this is a very pleasant surprise release of the same vein.

May well be. At absolute worst it's nothing short of absolutely fantastic.

But if I'm allowed to count a live album, this is my favourite:

Today's album from @1001albumsgen.bsky.social is one of those rare treats: an absolutely phenomenal album that is brand new to me & completely outside of my musical wheelhouse.

REAAALLLY enjoying this. The originals are even better than the Stones & Doors covers, too.

Time to give its album, which is also my favourite album, a listen. Always a fantastic listen, and especially poignant at this time of year.

If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

I use one of these simple little coffee dripper thingies with a paper filter. Every time I return back home after visiting my folks in NL, who switched to Keurig coffee a few years ago, I notice a massive improvement in taste. The quality isn't even close.
