Down 3-1, Habs decide to turn on the jets and before you know it, 3 goals in about 2 minutes to take a 4-3 lead, with 2 beauts by Caufield. Love to see it!

Too late a start time for me to watch the 3rd, but appreciate the b'ys making sure I hit the sack with a smile on my face.

30 year anniversary of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

25 year anniversary of Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea

Well played, October 23rd. Well played.
Not too often you get a goal and a powerplay on the same play. Thanks Oilers!
Aw man, used to love popping into Tony's in my Freddy days. Very big loss.
I just had ~16 hours of driving to-from my folks' place in Newfoundland and listened to a playlist with generally upbeat tunes that I had already curated sometime beforehand, and it treated me very well.

So I'd say do that with songs you like.
Maybe in vampire religious mythology there are tales of Vampire Jesus turning wine into blood!
Your pondering got me pondering and that's where I ended up 😄

But you raise a good point....not all blood is created equal! There's probably some really tasty unhealthy blood out there. Surely some vampires can't help but gorge on it at every opportunity. Like me with chips.
Maybe it's not a matter of body positivity (or lack thereof) but instead just a matter of a diet of human blood not being one that packs on the pounds.
I will say thought that I'd take the hives over the full fledged flu symptoms for a day or 2 like the wife got! The hives did suck though....but I guess at least now I understand better what folks experience with some allergic reactions.
I usually get slightly sore arms, but nothing more. Other than the time I got hives, that is.
If I have a choice I'm going Pfizer. One time 2 weeks post-Moderna I started getting random hives for a month or so. Not fun, so I try to avoid it now. Moderna also fully kicks my wife's ass every time, so we're a Pfizer phamily.
I feel like personality-wise I'm pretty chill, so 2 max. But I am a tall broad-shouldered person &that alone might bump me up to a 4-5. Like say I was walking behind someone smaller at night...scary stuff.

I did once successfully intimidate a high school bully from leaving me & my friends alone!
Good to know!

In the past I've had covid left arm flu right, and also both left arm at the same time. Guess I'll go with one of those again.
This reminded me to book mine, so thanks! Double shot Sunday here I come!
Definitely a lot of talent in the mile high city in that era, no doubt. Got yourself some pretty good ones these days too.
For sure. While I hated him getting traded away to the Avs, the Avs definitely became one of my favourite teams during his time there. Him hoisting the cup with the Avs didn't hit anything like him doing it with the Habs, but I still loved watching him win it there.
BONUS because I forgot him earlier - JAROMIR JAGR!

Another of the NHL's greatest player of all time. Always loved watching him, always wished the Habs would have found a way to get him, even late in his career.

Fun fact: Jaromir is an anagram for Mario Jr.

Also my mom thought he was cute.

Ivan Demidov:

EXTREMELY early into his career (a whole 10 games so far), but also clear he is EXTREMELY talented. Who knows what will come, but all signs point to very good things. It's a lot of fun watching him emerge onto the scene.

Lane Hutson:

I mean he's basically there already. So ridiculously skilled with the puck, and a real human highlight reel. Usually with a player this early into his career I would say the jury is out over how he turns out, but I only see him getting better. Thrilling every time he's on the ice.
Cole Caufield:

The little man with the big shot. Nothing more fun than watching Caufield snipe a corner that doesn't seem possible to hit. His energy out there makes things fun, and what more could you ask for?

Nick Suzuki:

Current Habs captain, and the perfect man for the job to lead the young team. His puckhandling is so high-end and he makes it look so effortless. He keeps getting better & better every year and I can't wait to see what's to come.

Brendan Gallagher:

The heart & soul of the Habs for many years now. His game is all about absolute effort every step of the way. He is surely on the tail end of his time with the Habs, and while his offensive production isn't what it once was, I'll sure miss him when he goes.

PK Subban:

Easily the flashiest player I've ever seen play for the Habs. If I could describe him with one word it would be FUN.

A big gamer too. He talked the talk and then delivered on the ice. Rival team fans hating him only fueled my love for him.
Maxim Lapierre:

An absolute piece of shit on the ice, and I mean that in the most loving way possible. He made me laugh almost every game with his antics & his faces.

Not at all a skilled player, but boy did he ever torment his opponents.
