The resignations are being painted as being because the BBC is culturally Marxist and has a leftist bias.

Facts don’t seem to matter anymore.

It means:

Belief & Opinion >> Science & Facts

As with so much else these days.

Michael Gove carried the torch for 'opinion based direction' when he made his statement that: “people in this country have had enough of experts”

Law / police force probably to follow, as per USA.

Please enlighten & correct me if I've missed an important aspect of this paper that proves specificity over multiple diseases 🤔?
I do find it difficult to focus adequately when reading research papers due to brain fog.
November 7, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Perhaps I misread the paper, but I believe the test was characterised against known severe ME/CFS vs healthy patients only. So not sufficient to prove that the test would show positive for e.g. someone with MS or merely sedentary, would it?
Or whether it could correctly identify mild/moderate.
November 7, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Sorry, but I don't think this statement is correct!

"The team discovered a distinctive pattern of these folds that appears only in people with ME/CFS — providing a clear biological “fingerprint” of the disease ...the researchers created a blood test that can diagnose ME/CFS with 96% accuracy."

The headline is a bit misleading. Test not quite ready for public use. I clarify here: open.substack.com/pub/colleens...
Headlines about Blood Biomarker for “ME/CFS” are premature
Potential Blood Biomarker is more accurate
