Only zombie movie I can think of that genuinely has as its thesis "it's very fun to kill all your icky gross neighbors and family members" is Peter Jackson's Braindead and y'know... it's very persuasive about that shit even if it's trying to make you vomit.

Train to Busan's deaths HURT, even the dickhead characters are pitiable. The Walking Dead comic books and video games (and what little I've seen of the tv show) establish that every bullet fired takes a bit of the assailant's soul with him. I don't think even comedies portray zombie society as fun.

Maybe I'm lucky in that I haven't seen shit like Z Nation or played them calls of duty zombie games, but I feel like the best contemporary zombie media uses that material to stress the toll taking even an undead life takes on you. Like Dawn of the Dead '04 is an action movie but the deaths HURT.

I wanna say a word here on behalf of the people who run social media accounts for institutions, companies & famous people. By and large, they are not "interns." The bigger the client, the more they get paid, because managing the waves of public opinion is tricky, and the amount of abuse is unending.
