had a scenario play out where michael took annori on a trip to sulani with the intention of proposing (mind you, they've only been dating for a little over a year). annori suspected as much as soon as he noticed the staff at the resort being coy & the flowery path leading to a secluded table.

i think i talked myself out of preferring michael and annori over bō and annori. also, i had to soften bō up a little bit, but he will still be a little shit that messes up with annori from time to time, but he was starting to get into "unforgiveable" territory with his actions.

just thought of this, but i think bo's social circle would primarily refer to him as jb while annori is the only one to refer to him jiàn bō, or just bo. which is probably what made bo simultaneously annoyed as all fuck by annori and egregiously down bad for him.

when bo crashes the wedding, he admits that he was afraid of committment because of his upbringing. because his life had always been planned out for him and he never had to make any major decisions in his life. but then he further admits that it wasnt the decisions that scared him, actually.

forgot about bo changing his bedding to silk sheets & pillow cases for when annori stays in his room after they have sex and he's too lazy to get his bonnet. and then bo just ends up keeping several bonnets in his room in general for annori. mf been in love actually.

so. i've formulated a plot that explains where this new boo for annori comes from, his relation to bo, and what this man does that ultimately is a dealbreaker and makes bo crash a wedding to confess to annori.

and i do think i'm going to have them legally change their names to just yuki and nobu.

though they're still keeping part of their birth names, they're ultimately separating themselves from who they used to be and what families they were attached to.

i've been wanting yuki and nobu to change their names (particularly their last name(s)) for a while now, but i never knew what to change them/it to (they've gone through a marriage arc in my head already, so i keep wanting to say they have the same last name)
