he became a party guy to fit in, he kept relationships to casual hook ups because he couldnt deal with putting himself out there to build a connection just to have it dropped. he became the asshole to keep people an arms length away at all times.

he decided to be true to himself and pursue the one thing he loved and it cost him his home, his family, his culture. he moved countries alone, and lived alone until he found people who liked him enough to invite him to parties. but that was all it ever was.

because he's made big decisions in his life. he decided to pursue art and he decided to move away from his family to do it. it wasnt the decisions that scared him, but it was making thise decisions and then losing everything afterwards.

and i do think i'm going to have them legally change their names to just yuki and nobu.

though they're still keeping part of their birth names, they're ultimately separating themselves from who they used to be and what families they were attached to.
