Geeky Gamer he/him lives with 2 cats and mostly playing Stellaris lately
My friend was on my Space Engineers server working on his asteroid base, turns out a Pirate Longshot was blasting my capitol factory ship while I was offline. He was using a scripted artillery turret so there was really nothing I could have done to prevent this. #SpaceEngineers

The progress on my Underhive-standard Goliath gang. Only 9 members because one of the bodies went MIA, but still 1385 points worth. Plus a tentacle monster because. Scared to paint the flesh parts because it always comes out terrible. #necromunda

I started out this painting spree by practicing on some Mantic minis I had. The top part of the image is after applying 'Strong Tone' quickshade and letting that dry a couple days. Clearly went on too thick and gave it a muddy appearance, but did bring out a little detail on the hands and pouches.

Been painting every day to get my Necromunda Underhive box set fit to look at. Got a House Orlock gang with primer drying in the garage, that's the team I customized, but hope to finish a stock Goliath team to teach the game to newbies.

Here's an entire fleet of every class of ship (except frigate) hanging out across the system and sloooowly destroying a void worm nest. Took them months because they refused to close the distance, it was just their kinetic artillery against tons of armor and health.

There's a funny little glitch in Stellaris right now, entire mixed fleets will hang out at absolute maximum range and plink away at stationary or orbiting enemies for ages instead of sending in the corvettes and destroyers to mop up.

What I'd consider a perfect start in Stellaris, a healthy pocket of territories and only a single friendly chokepoint to the rest of the galaxy. Do I quietly build up or start a campaign of vassalization to exert my will on the galaxy?

I always use this pattern for my inner fortress, essentially 11x11 squares with 5x5 squares in each cardinal and diagonal direction, and then each cluster separated by 3x3 hallways. Mining and farming levels are just whatever works, surface is a small guarded fort with a trade depot.
