Geeky Gamer he/him lives with 2 cats and mostly playing Stellaris lately
There probably isn't a market to sustain even one large language model, and there's so many companies trying to fill this one niche that doesn't exist. I think the server based AI model is just never going to work out, the future will probably be locally ran and very tailored AI.

Taking out the pirate wasn't even difficult, I just went up with a basic grinder (my cryopod was already destroyed and my body gone) and disabled it. By time I was online though my cargo bay was already destroyed, so all the resources I could use to rebuild the blueprint are gone into the ether.

That's the funny thing, the best empire for mass conquest is one that can happily integrate new captured populations, because their new planets become productive much faster than if they did the whole Empire of Man Exterminatus schtick.

Or they'd wipe us out before we had the chance to turn our useful habitable planet into a tomb world through our idiocy.

Also the maps in that entry felt far too small to be a city, but they could have played with scale to make a SimCity set on the citadel feel sufficiently large and impressive.

Setting SimCity on the Citadel would have solved a major problem of that entry in the series, which was that the agent system made traffic an intractable problem. They later tried to solve it with more flying agents, but a Mass Effect city builder would have had those as the primary transport mode.

He was obviously saying that the commentator was feeding THEMSELVES into a woodchipper with their own insane ramblings, but media conglomerates will do anything to look like they're keeping down left-wing 'extremists' while doing nothing about right wingers.

Wow, and he molested all those girls just to maintain his cover. What an hero.

Strange how the problem is 'not enough houses' but half our houses are empty. It couldn't possibly be all the investors buying up houses and driving up the price to increase the size of their portfolios, no, blame immigrants. Immigrants for everything.

Be mindful that if you have open borders with that empire, they will gladly go through Ophang and take Kergaros. The AI loves to create border gore.

Anyone who didn't vote for democrats because they aren't 'tough on crime' is a lost cause, detached from reality. Crime is the lowest it's ever been. Just because the daily news will always dig up crimes to report on doesn't make it the pressing issue of our day.

Israel could have got the hostages back more than a year ago, they just didn't want to stop killing Palestinians at any cost.

The SCOTUS isn't feckless they're actively treasonous.

Which will actually put them at more risk if they leave fevers untreated. There's zero evidence that Tylenol causes autism, it's just another total shot in the dark from RFK's gossip mill.

He insists he won on one hand, but on the other hand he actively punishes the country for not reelecting him in 2020, an election he also insists he should've won. Deep down he knows he is a loser and always will be.

Personally I've always preferred to limit the size of my empire since the automated build options have never been comparable to a manually designed colony. I can generally produce all the resources I could ever want with 10 - 20 well developed planets.
September 21, 2025 at 10:02 AM
Generally you can fully offset increased empire size penalties by just producing more science and culture, but if you have a huge number of colonies the modifier for colonized planets may be too much to offset with research jobs due to scaled population growth that limits galactic population.

It's funny they'll keep talking about the killer's radicalization but conveniently leave off that he was radicalized by the far right.

I just put them in the oven slightly longer than the minimum time until they're golden brown. Crispy enough.

I had a mixed experience with the Biogen patch, sometimes it worked okay, sometimes my population wouldn't grow at all or I'd get other major issues, and I'm not even talking about the Wilderness origin just regular empire types that existed before the patch.

Well he sure got out of their way didn't he?

Now is it actually going to be playable on day one, or is this another alpha access patch/DLC situation like Biogenesis?
