This is an almost shockingly wise essay. I'm glad I've finally read it.
There Is No Mary Problem in ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’
George’s vision of his wife without him is essential to the film, but critics continue to miss its true—and profound—meaning.

The week ahead: How will the Penguins bounce back from a baffling, insane week?
It is hard to even describe the week the Pittsburgh Penguins just had. They were in position to win. Then did not.

I still have the starter set, btw, and may just paint it up.

Just look at photojournalist Linda Tirado (killermartinis here, though I'm not tagging her in), shot in the facce by a pepper round in 2020 while covering the George Floyd demonstrations in MPLS.

She not only lost her eye, but suffered brain damage which will be fatal to her (she's in hospice now).

Fabulous 3 points off a good team. And a 3rd clean sheet in 5 games. Sometimes laboured in the second half and there were moments of luck but there were moments of class, everyone worked hard and the subs brought new energy and shored it up and overall a deserved victory. #COYS
