The other thing is that the Tea Tax was removed because of representations, in London, by the colonies. So, 'no taxation without representation' was horse feathers too.

ACTUAL FACT: The Sons of Liberty were protesting the *removal* of the Tea Tax, which rendered their stocks of tax-paid tea uncompetitive with the newly-imported, tax-free tea.
The Boston Tea Party was an act of commercial sabotage.
