Iran's capital Tehran is counting down to "day zero" - the day the water runs out and the taps run dry.

People are talking a lot about the "fangirl" character moments from Metroid Prime 4.
Anyway here's Doom Eternal doing the same concept very well.

My website now uses a Rust Axum server for its backend instead of bun.sh. The front end is still @astro.build just statically built.

The performance increase, considering it's still a light website, has more than doubled.

With bun.sh being sold to Anthropic and my websites ability to be statically exported, I am considering moving from bun.sh to Axum. Axum is a Rust based async web server built by those who make Tokio, the library that gives far better async support in Rust (used by vast majority of projects).

I did it. I picked up an unknown caller and said 'it's done but there is blood everywhere'. The person cracked up laughing (it was a wrong number).

The AI apocalypse continues. The amount of collateral damage from AI is truly staggering. This is not likely to end well.
Crucial is shutting down — because Micron wants to sell its RAM and SSDs to AI companies instead. It’s already getting hard to build an affordable PC, and the exit of the longstanding provider of consumer memory is going to make that even more challenging www.theverge.com/news/837594/...

Can we start calling today's AI's, VI's instead? Like in Mass Effect?

VI's need input to perform actions. AI's can perform actions independent on input.

This was NOT a good decision... When the AI bubble bursts, it will be a disaster...

Bun has been acquired by Anthropic. Anthropic is betting on Bun as the infrastructure powering Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and future AI coding products & tools.

There is a mod in Nolvus where NPC's drop bottles when drinking something, both potions and everything else.

Finding litter everywhere but, I can re-forge it all into glass.

I also found out that there are baking recipes you can buy, so that's a nice touch.

I tell Trump my peace terms, Trump tells Witkoff what they are and then Witkoff tells me Trump's terms that I told him then I say they aren't enough so we both blame Ukraine for me not accepting my own terms and I keep attacking them.

Rinse. Repeat.
