This is why you adopt, not shop. Left is the photo sent to me to help this abandoned dog who just gave birth to 7 puppies. Right is the same dog one week later. We kept her and one of her pups (we already had 2 dogs at the time). And found great homes for the other six.

What the KENNEDY Center used to be…

Remember that time Aretha Franklin performed at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, paying tribute to Carole King, who co-wrote “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman,” and it brought a tear to Obama’s eye and everyone to their feet? And Carole King’s reaction. Wow.

Murcs Law 2.0

Not only do Republicans have no agency, neither do voters.

There is NO charge that would've prevented Trump from running, because any conviction would've been appealed through 2024.

And the only people who let him go free are the people who didn't vote against him.

Twice.
Joe Biden’s fatal flaw was relying on the reluctant institutionalist Merrick Garland to prosecute the case of insurrectionist Donald J Trump. Had Garland done his job, Trump would have been banned from office and America and the world would not be in this predicament.

This Jack Smith deposition makes one thing abundantly clear:

If Donald Trump wasn’t re-elected, he’d be spending the rest of his life in prison.

And he should be.

Question: But the president’s statements that he believed the election was rife with fraud—those are statements protected by the First Amendment, correct?

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

2025 was a year where many of our worst fears came to pass.

We watched a madman get back into the White House, who let billionaires hijack our federal government, slash our benefits to fund their government handouts & tax cuts, while stealing our data to feed their Orwellian surveillance systems

Hope and belief are what makes us stronger than this regime
His unconstitutional actions were vigorously challenged in the courts. Many state and federal judges held the line as best they could.

Resistance grew in our streets, our classrooms, our churches, even in the halls of Congress…and it showed in the ballot box.

It's absolutely true this is horrifying.

It's also true that the NEED to spend this $$ (beyond whatever incentive arises from graft ProPublica already described) arises from the way ICE goons have become toxic.

Plus now we can attack the waste fraud and abuse.

So I saw that story that DOGE cancelled Adobe Acrobat for DOJ and that's why we could copy/paste to un-redact that one Epstein document. But I did some research and it's not true. The cost cutting package from this past May included Acrobat Premium, which has the redaction/sanitize function. 1/
