You lying piece of shit. I chaired the Minnesota DFL for all three of your runs here. I watched you lose. Three times. Minnesota never bought your con. And now, as Chair of the DNC, I’m looking forward to ending Trumpism for good in 2028 — not with lies, but with votes. Again.
Trump: "I feel I won Minnesota. I think I won it all three times. Nobody has won it since Richard Nixon won it many many years ago. I won it all three times in my opinion. It's a corrupt state ... I did so well in that state. The people were crying every time after."

I just made an anodyne comment on a thread about different types of weapons and had a photojournalist tell me to "stay in my lane".

It would be funny if not for the fact that the reason I'm having a bad PTSD day today is because the Marine Corps made weapons and the effects they have "my lane".

Because Democrats saw themselves indict Trump twice only to be blamed by voters who let him go free after Republican judges ran interference.

Voters blamed Dems for Republicans ending Roe, blocking student loans, etc.

The idea that voters will reward Dems for trying is completely debunked.
Deciding whether to arrest the ICE officer is emblematic of the tactical divide among Dems right now. One side is against it because they rightly believe they'll never get a successful conviction. The other is for it because it demoralizes other DHS agents and forces Trump to waste scarce resources.
Q: Is this ICE officer immune to charges?

HENNEPIN COUNTY ATTORNEY MORIARTY: I can't speak to why the Trump administration says what it says. I can say the ICE officer does not have complete immunity here.

One of the most important things Amerocans vote for who has the unilateral authority to launch nuclear weapons.

Voters decided to elect someone who will call their own intelligence agencies liars if they don't tell him what a wannabe Goebbels showed them on Twitter to hold that power.
in addition to the many reasons i gave people why voting matters is that when we vote we do not just vote for america. we vote for our Allies. we vote for people in other countries who want to breathe free. we never have voted for just us. it should be clear by now voting is a Butterfly Effect.

The fact that so many people are screaming about this statement makes it really funny when they're demanding Democrats "codify Roe" because it proves that they have no idea what Roe v Wade actually did.

Roe didn't legalize abortions.

It restricted states interests upto the point of viability.
"On abortion—I fully support the Women's Health Protection Act...that would basically make sure that women have the right to terminate or continue an abortion through viability, and protect physicians and other health care professionals from the absolutely absurd things going on in some states."

The bill now heads to the Senate.

The House just decisively passed legislation that restores the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

Over the objection of Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson.

If you don’t know, now you know.

It really is quite something watching people scream about Democrats voting for a judge that was always going to be confirmed, seemingly oblivious to the idea that this is what it's going to cost them to get Republicans to join them in stopping Trump.

Because it's the only option voters gave them.

Tonight — thanks to all of YOU — House Democrats did something many thought impossible.

We forced the Republican-controlled House to vote on extending healthcare tax credits for working families.

And it PASSED.

The Senate must now do the same.

I can't remember if it were Pierce or Tony that suggested that Mills simply ignore every primary candidate and instead focus on Collins, but it seems to be working.
BINGO from Janet Mills: My problem with Susan Collins is that she never does the right or hard thing the first time when it’s needed most – only when it serves her politically – and we always pay the price. Once again, she is a day late and a dollar short.

In the years since, I've watched Gabby fight her way back with a strength that inspires me every day. Her courage, and the courage of the other survivors, reminds us why we can’t accept gun violence in our everyday lives.

The killing of an unarmed woman by a masked federal agent in Minneapolis is a moral outrage and a betrayal of American values. There has been no justification offered—only deception and deflection from those in charge.

This image is all you need to see to debunk the ICE agent's claim.

Bullets fly straight from the barrel into their target, and pass through glass at an angle perpendicular to their point of entry (in most cases).

IF the officer was being rammed, the holes would be in the center of the windshield.

He doesn't care if he's impeached, because he'll do what he did last time: refuse to testify, and cry about it being fake while his goons threaten enough senators to make sure that he doesn't get convicted.

Then when it fails, he'll scream vindication.

He just wants to make the midterms about him.
Voters, we know what we have to do now.

We will continue shaping our recovery around the real needs of our communities.

And we will continue showing up and doing the work to move forward and recover.

Just a friendly reminder: not only does the majority decide what hearings are held, they decide whether or not they're open or closed chambers.
I just left the Venezuela briefing.

It's worse than you thought.

Oil company executives seem to know more about Trump's secret plan to "run" Venezuela than the American people.

We need public Senate hearings NOW.

Collective punishment is bad, except when Jews get murdered.

Killing civilians is unacceptable, except when they’re Jewish kids.

Ethnic groups aren’t a monolith, except that tiny one that celebrates Chanukah.

If you don’t apply your values consistently, you never believed in them at all.
