I generally find it more useful to try to capture specific artistic movements/aesthetics than trying to do taxonomoy (ie. I'm a "avatar is anime" guy), so in that sense "retro" would be static nes-to-ps1 kinda stuff

My experience in Europe is that capital city dwellers get ribbed and minimized all the time as not real [country person]s, but other cities are fine, obscure local beef notwithstanding

I do feel kinda aberrant in this case; I've heard multiple people whose opinions I respect a lot mention "Act 3 Fatigue", but then I played through the game back-to-back 4 times (three acts 3s, two 100%s) and I never felt an ounce of it

this isn't even agreeing or disagreeing, just me going "huh"
