i think now that im off work i should clarify this: i think its really, really weird how "microlabels" have been made by endos-- like "a system that formed through a dream" and stuff like that :// and i think comparing it to sexualities and genders (xenogenders) is weird +
idk ik bluesky is HEAVILY pro-endo and im not like gonna block or shittalk endos on here, but i /am/ uncomfortable with people trying to justify stuff on pluralpedia

TL:DR "alt text so blind people can enjoy it too" teaches people compassion.

Hot take, we need to stop using "or else I won't reskeet you" as the little threat/carrot-dangle we use for alt text advocacy.
We need to just say, on God, "without alt text, you're leaving out blind/visually impaired people".
It shouldn't be about whether or not the poster gets shared.
