Frame 1: Emmrich's apartment, the grand necropolis 16th solace. Emmrich (lich) wiping dried blood and dirt off Rook's face. Rook is unconsious in Emmrich's 4 poster bed. She is dressed in her night dress. Emmrich is wearing a kimono. Arms tied up with a tasuki rope, revealing his missing left arm. F2: Emmrich heals Rook's head injury with magic. F3: Emmrich feeds Rook "ahhhh" he thinks. F4: 17 solase. Emmrich brushes Rooks hair. F5: Emmrich doing breathing exercised using magic to simulate air. F6: Emmrich holding Rook in his arm, leaning back in bed with Rook on his lap. F7: 18th solase, Emmrich laying in bed holding Rook's hand "Your life force looks stronger today, dearest" he says to her. Seeing the light in her chest. F8: Emmrich looking in Rooks crate with her things, finding Varric's book. F9: Emmrich sitting on the edge of the bed reading to Rook. "Get the captain, Donnen sighed, We got a dead magistrate" he reads from Varric's book Frame 1: 19th solase Emmrich done reading the book, places it on the bedside drawer. "Your friend Varric was a good writer" "...He would surely be upset that you got hurt..." "...That I...couldnt keep you safe.." F2-3-4: He gets up from the bed and starts taking his kimono off while walking towards the bed room standing mirror. F5: He stands before the mirror, seeing his broken skeleton. Ribs broken and cracked. Left arm missing from the elbow. Cracked boned. F6: He touches his ribcage "My hand is shaking again" he thinks. F6: He looks at his missing arm "If I wasnt undead...I'd surely... and Rook would also... No! I'd better not dwell on it" he thinks. F7: He touches his broken pelvic bone sighing. Frame 1: Rook blinks awake in the bed. F2: She sees Emmrich at the end of the bed in all his broken glory. She is shocked, eyes wide. "Em.." she manages F3: Emmrich starteled turns around to see the awakened Rook. "Emm..ri... You...r..." Rooks tried to speak. F4: Emmrich grabs his kimono "No no! It's fine, dearest!" she says hurrying to but his clothes on to not worry her further. F5: "Bu.." Rooks starts. Emmrich climbing into bed pushing her down gently. "Please, lay back down." He tells her. F6: "Are...you hurting" Rook worried about him, grabbing at his clothes. Still shocked. F7: I'm fine, I promise" He tries to reasure her, pulling her hand from his clothes. "But you can feel pain..." She continues. F8: Darling, any pain I felt was only temporary. You need not worry. " He bumps his forehead against her's and pets her cheek. "..." Rook is not convinced but let it go for now. F9: "What happened, it's all a bit blurry" she tells him. He tells her they can talk about it once she feels better. F10: Rook upset by his injuries cant stop the tears from running down her face "But I got you hurt..." She sobs. Frame 1: Emmrich feeling guilty "perish the thought" he sayd, hanging his head. "...If anything I almost let you die because I'm a coward!" F2: Rook understanding it's not her time to cry. F3: "So long as you are my coward" she says reashing her arms for him, inviting him in for a hug. F4: He accepts leaning his skull against her chest. "Without a dobht my love, without a dobht" he sais. F5: "Can they fix your body?" Rook asks, caressing his skull with the hand. F6: "yes but I'll be away for a few days. I didnt want to leave your care to anyone else" he says. Rook kisses his skull. F7: Thank you for looking after me, and for saving me" Rooks smiles at him against her chest, holding his skull with both hands "And just so we are clear, I dont think you're a coward". F8: "It's a hard thing to face your fears. I'm proud of you. You are very brave" She tells him. Remembering the fear demon. Emmrich emotional cant help the tears, they drifts up into the air, unable to respond "..." F9: "I love you very much" She tells him hugging him as he pulls his leggs closer and burrows his skull in her dress "I...lov..." he tries, but cant finish his words. Muffled sob.

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.

This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

Thoughts on boycotts: inflict pain on the corporation. Buying a couple 99 cent ebooks from a self-published author on Amazon is fine. Don’t buy a microwave on it. Purity is never the answer. Restraint though and thoughtfulness is.

‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

The federal government is attempting to erase us and take away our history.
