Every time this happens I'm reminded of The Fugitive Slave Act. It required that all escaped slaves, upon capture, be returned to the slave-owner and that officials and citizens of free states had to cooperate.
A 19-year-old college student was about to board a flight to surprise her family for Thanksgiving when she was detained at Boston Logan International Airport and deported to Honduras two days later, her father and lawyer said on Sunday.

This book has been so soothing. I have probably learned more about the foreign policies that shape the world just in the first three chapters than I have in at least the last 15 years of news media. 🙃 It's helped clarify a lot of the absolutely batshit nonsense of the current timeline. COMFORT READ

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

The president said "punishable by death" not "punishable by execution" or punishable by death penalty."
He's talking to his base and suggesting one of them should "punish" those Democrats.

What the hell is happening in Atlanta right now?
We’re hearing reports that ICE has set up checkpoints across Metro Atlanta and is detaining people.

No one should have to live in fear just driving down the street. No one should be targeted because of what they look like.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

Remember: ICE raids are about attacking the 14th amendment. The end goal is to drive out citizens and redefine the term so only rich white Americans are citizens.
That's why we're here.
On Saturday, goons broke a window of Willy Aceituno’s pickup truck outside the Pollo Campero restaurant in Charlotte. Aceituno, a U.S. citizen for approximately six years, reported the incident.
