I just finished “High Conflict” by Amanda Ripley and oh man, was it very timely for me to read. If you are struggling with the increase in political polarization in legacy media and online I would highly recommend reading! 🧵

Ended up reading "Animal Farm" by George Orwell this weekend. Even though it's about the Russian revolution I was still able to notice themes and ideas prevalent today. Would recommend as a good historical and classical read.

If you’re looking for a well thought out murder mystery read this winter check out How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin. It’s got drama, romance, betrayal and most importantly…murder! The story is engaging and the ending is unexpected 😮.

Reading this NYT opinion piece on Russia allegedly having a nuclear satellite killer in orbit. I don't think it's happening soon but I'm just left thinking that this is just ANOTHER way WW3 would set humanity back centuries.

Totally agree with this sentiment. Cars and related infrastructure is terribly un-dense. A line of 10 cars turning at a light is on average $450k and holds 15 people 😭

My biggest gripe with X is that inflammatory content is promoted because it engages more users. On Bluesky there is no monetization yet so I was hoping things would be more civil here. Instead I am finding the same amount of polarizing content which is not helpful in resolving conflict. Anyone else?

@bsky.app what is the best way to provide feedback and feature requests? I assume you guys are getting swamped with requests already

@bsky.app is there something wrong with Feeds? Many of the ones recommended to me have no posts even if they have thousands of likes.

Making my first post on any social media platform in a looong time. Hoping for the best on this platform. I think the great filter will be how it handles content monetization.
