The Sega Channel adapter is now emulated! This uses the very same data packets that were broadcast in September 1996 and preserved on a transmission disc that was recently dumped.

Currently it lives in my MAME branch. I'll try to clean up the packet loading and then hopefully get it merged.

I really don't understand this AI hate. I won't get upset about individuals using AI technology for creative or practical purposes. I think what's much worse is when corporations use AI as an excuse to layoff thousands and increase the workload on the remaining staff instead.

Even better, can you do what Microsoft did in the 90s and design said user interfaces based on actual studies rather than "vibes"?

It's crazy how fast AI has developed over the last few _weeks_. It's now possible to run LLMs that would have been considered state of the art a year ago on a single gaming PC, which doesn't even have the latest components.
