Cinema Dispatch: #GoodFortune

Keanu Reeves may be perfect casting as an enigmatic guardian angel, but does this movie make the most of its glorious premise, or is a sacrilege to good comedy?

3rd Rock From the Sun
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

Today we'll be looking at two of the biggest downer filmmakers of the modern era as they try to indulge in a little action and humor to spice up their usual bleakness and ennui. Does this experiment in other genres bring out the best in both filmmakers?
Cinema Dispatch: Caught Stealing & Eddington
My End of 2025 Catchups will still be ongoing well into the New Year, which is perfectly fine for me, as January looks to be the usual crop of mid-range horror movies and previous year stragglers. …

For a show that's been around since before the turn of the Millennium, SpongeBob is still doing quite well for itself. Can the fourth feature film stand alongside the best of the series, or is this a bigger misstep than Kamp Koral?

The studios love to pack the end of the year with lots of movies, so we'll be looking at two today! Both based on books, both from well respected filmmakers, but both from wildly different genres!

I play a poker app that looks exactly like this. At least in that, there's a pretense that we're "gambling" and so throwing offers all over the place is what you put up with in that kind of environment. For a kids game? Absolutely wild.
