there's also an intermediate fall plumage where I'm wearing earth tones but still accessorizing

who would like some more choice fungi
A young Amanita muscaria beginning to open, with a deep red cap dotted with white spots of the universal veil. One billion small yellow mushrooms growing on a stump. They're probably sulfur tufts. A small brown mushroom with a flat cap and white at the base of the stalk. Probably a pinkgill, possibly a redwood rooter. Hand holding a large, whitish mushroom with a concave cap like a trumpet and a thick, stout stalk. Some sort of Russula.

really grainy pic of my wirt over the garden wall halloween costume (tall pointy red hat, blue cloak). it's very dark and I'm walking away from the camera on a path covered in leaf litter and you can't see anything else me hitting the dab in the costume in the woods at night amidst trees and fallen logs approaching the camera from deeper in the woods with one hand on a branch and the other holding a plush Eastern bluebird (it's beatrice!)

A shaggy mane mushroom growing amongst redwood sorrel, white with a tall, unopened cap that has shaggy-looking peeling. A small, bright red mushroom growing in redwood duff. Probably a waxcap, maybe a Western witch's hat My hand holding the stem of a mushroom, underside of the cap towards the viewer. It's probably a slippery jack, a bolete. There are redwood needles stuck to its cap, and the underside is porous, not gilled. A collection of small charming pale yellow mushrooms growing amidst some moss. They're probably sulphur tufts.
