Blech. All week, my throat has been scratchy, not sore or painful just scratchy. In addition, my left ear is doing the air pressure crud, which rarely happens. Not even my Neti pot is helping. Today I was texting w/ a friend who asked, “Have you tried Sudafed?” Silly me, never thought of that. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I introduced my brother and his wife to my fave café, Java Joe’s, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’ve been eating here off & on since 2005, and they never disappoint. 😋

I had my usual breakfast burrito with bacon, smothered in green chili, 🤤🤤 and a large latte.

It got drowned out in all the good news from last night, but Boston Mayor Michelle Wu became the youngest person to be reelected in the city's history.

She ran unopposed because her opponent--Patriots owner Bob Kraft's son--withdrew a few months ago after realizing he had no hope of winning.

Easily several hundred people have packed into this plaza in Chicago's North Center tonight in response to ICE abducting a daycare worker early this morning.

This is a neighborhood that has largely been spared until now from the "Midway Blitz" terror campaign. But everyone knows someone affected.

The grandfather of 2 stepped out of the ICE office Friday, prompting cheers from activists who had been waiting 3 hours to learn whether he would be deported.

His release means that, if only for a few more days, he won't not be sent away from the country he’s lived in 20 years.
