As the lights continue to dim on our Democracy, I just want to go on record that I have always believed that everyone deserves quality universal health coverage whatever it’s called. No one should ever have to worry about going to the doctor and putting food on the table. No one. It’s a human right.

The Trump administration spent $167,000 to destroy $9.7 million worth of birth control and other contraceptives that were supposed to go to low-income countries. Imagine hating helping so much that you’d actually spend money just to make sure others don’t get help.
