Many years back, I lived in a house owned by the local Chief of Police. I learned a lot from him, primarily how seriously he took his obligation to monitor the mental fitness of his dept. That has apparently not occurred to Tom Homan or Greg Bovino. Ross was ready to explode and they missed it.

I've seen a lot of stupid pronouncements from the current WH, but this one really takes the cake. If anyone had a functioning brain, they'd disclaim it, issue apologies, and move on.

Last night, there was a news conference from Providence, R.I. At one point, the Chief of Police, Oscar Perez, spoke. He spoke with a pronounced accent. He was asked a question in Spanish and responded in Spanish. It was a profoundingly American moment. I was very proud of my Providence friends.

NO WE HAVE NOT, but he does a fine job of changing the focus of national attention one crackpot stunt at a time, or maybe 2-3 at a time, so that we'll forget. We still have a felon in the WH, and we seem to have forgotten that.

I was listening to a presser about the arrest of the Jan.6 bomber. Pam Bondi is incredibly annoying,taking every opportunity to praise her cronies, and slamming her first on the podium for emphasis, not failing to blame Pres.Biden for whatever she wants. Such a clown show.

Extraordinary. Somewhere on youtube, there is a video of Menuhin and Heifitz playing the Bach double violin concerto. Menuhin wrote a lot about being gifted and all the changes that happen along the way. I feel I have known him for years.

I'm definitely older, and I do not recall another President of the United States ever saying "I don't know anything about it", much less as often as drumpf does. If he's at all concerned about how people view him in this country, consistently saying that may not be the best approach.

I just listened to General Mark Hertling read off the medals Senator Kelly wears in full uniform. I know Senator Kelly is tough as nails, but drumpf has clearly chosen to bully the wrong guy. Having General Hertling speaking up for you as he did says it all.

Speaker Johnson is simply inadequate in his current job. He is now trying to convince everyone, still, that the Epstein scandal is a Democratic hoax. Maybe he has constituents that will believe him, but there is a growing number of Americans who don't. Hopefully, he will stop giving speeches.
