Whatever we have to do to get Bobby back! Sorry, Grams 😞

Two things you can count on Chuck to be: 1). a disappointment and 2). performative. We need new leadership in the Senate (and the House), term limits and fucking age limits while we're at it.

I literally just said this to a coworker

I feel like Harry and Meghan receive a disproportionate amount of negative coverage. I hope this new show does well. Idc about any royals but I wish these two success in abundance.

Okay, now y'all doing too much

That take is so wildly detached from reality. An extremist won. And the opposing candidate did everything to cater to the center and attempt to woo Republicans

Bring back wooing women!

And one neighbor had the NERVE to tell us "well the dogs were here before you" after I chased one out my yard. 🥲 We've been here 5 years too long, but we're moving soon and I can't wait!!

I think I'm probably misunderstanding your statement. Or perhaps I just have a fundamentally different perspective on the purpose of relationships. Could you elaborate on this?
February 25, 2025 at 1:50 PM
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who let their dogs pee and poop on someone else's property. My neighbors just open their front door and let their dogs loose, unsupervised, to shit throughout the neighborhood every single day.

My husband just finished reading this & has been raving about it the whole time. I showed him your January wrap-up & you captured his feelings completely

A book. Isaac's Song by Daniel Black. It was published 2 weeks ago and has helped me focus on something other than news this week.

I feel like I'm pushing dope every time I approach people like this but, have you tried Libby?

Omfg, whyyyyyy? 😭

Very sad to hear this. My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of everyone lost

Given that everyone (politicians and news outlets) are responding like human beings, with compassion and care, and simply recognizing this as a fluke tragedy without making it political - I've answered my own question.

I hate that my immediate second thought after hearing about this was, PLEASE don't let the helicopter pilot be BIPOC or a woman. They'd use that to further attack "wokeness" and diversity efforts in the military, justify barring us from more roles, and continue attacking our competence & value

Don't Cry for Me by Daniel Black. The sequel just came out and I'm only a few chapters in, but it's hard to imagine something moving me more than the first book.

Goodreads has much more of a community vibe than StoryGraph. (But that may be because no one I followed on GR is on SG, so there's not much interaction.) Maybe as it gets more popular. Either way, I deleted Goodreads & won't be going back.
I'm SuttonLake on StoryGraph as well.
