i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS (Pt 2)

It seems that taking DHA regularly Is a good way to avoid vision loss that comes with aging. It prevents buildup of toxic residue in the retina. A food plan could include low mercury sardines, tuna, mackerel or salmon, or find a quality mercury free fatty acid supplement.

Dozens of studies in recent years have linked ultra-processed fare to health problems such as high blood pressure and heart attacks, and also to some problems that one might not expect: cancer, anxiety, dementia, and early death.
Why Is the American Diet So Deadly?
A scientist tried to discredit the theory that ultra-processed foods are killing us. Instead, he overturned his own understanding of obesity.

A constant obsession with what, when, and how to obtain more; overeating; hiding or hoarding; secretive eating behaviors; inability to stop overeating or continual eating.

It can be stopped without drugs.

MORE than just being alone because some are happy on their own. It’s not how many you know or feeling disconnected.

Key is strong connections. Those who do tend to be happier, healthier, productive. Those who don’t may feel lonely

Takes a physical toll. Learn ways to cope.

I'm not often a hands-waving, jumping-up-and-down person, but I do think this is an essential piece of news while this application remains pending at SCOTUS.

The SG's position before the justices was significantly undermined by a declaration filed Wednesday in another case that was unsealed today.
BREAKING: ICE contradicts DOJ filing at SCOTUS that a pending habeas case blocks AEA removal.

DOJ argued the Trump admin would not remove people under the AEA while a habeas petition is pending. An ICE official has stated there are multiple exceptions.

If Trump cannot secure the instant release of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America, a country that uses $ for currency, and whose GDP is about a tenth of that of New Jersey, the prospects for our global tariff negotiations look pretty f-ing dismal.

What we all just witnessed had all the earmarks of a criminal conspiracy to deprive Abrego-Garcia of his constitutional rights, as well as an impeachable offense.
