the source image is a poorly conceived, composed, and executed photoshop of a fake movie cover from 11 years ago. the title of the fake movie is the bunt for ned october. the image is bathed in artificial blue coloring with three visual artifacts next to the purported title. the viewer's eye is drawn first to the disembodied head of former kansas city royals manager ned yost exhibiting his typical jocular glee. near him, a ghastly bat extends, as if held out for a bunt, from an artificial blue fog. it is strongly implied that the bunt is being deployed even though a bunt does not make sense given the game circumstances. the fog from which the bat extends looks suspiciously like the overuse of a microsoft paint spray can by a five year old. for all its visual and technical flaws, the image captures the spirit of the 2014 and 2015 kansas city royals with one hundred percent accuracy.
