I have a foldable silicone bucket with a vented lid that works really well, I just put in three tablespoons of kernels, and that's it. Zap for 3 1/2 minutes (or closer to 4 as my microwave ages), and melt butter or margarine in a ramekin beforehand. None of that "buttery" palm oil garbage involved.
