Very sad to hear, I got to tag along on assignment with Colleen as a j-school intern at CBC, and she was happy to have me along, with lots of helpful tips. She also helped schlep camera gear, a team player all the way. We met lots after that, but I always remember her kindness to this student.
This is sad news. She was always so lovely and kind to me when we'd meet at events.

I recall Udo was filming something in Nova Scotia, and a friend ran into him at Park Lane Mall. I've rarely been so insanely jealous, one of my all-time fave character actors. Wish I'd met him to tell him how much I've loved his work.
We’re crushed to hear the news that the great Udo Kier has passed at the age of 81. As iconic as he was prolific, Kier’s contributions to the genre span nearly 300 screen credits, from BLOOD FOR DRACULA to BACURAU and beyond. Our condolences go out to his friends, family and legions of fans.
