Hi! I’m Leilani. I found this app through Threads after leaving the site-that-must-not-be-named. I’m a 46 year old massage therapist and love graphic novels, psychology, art, pinball, and helping people find ways to positively reshape their nervous system. Happy to be here!

They’re banning TikTok not because it harvests data, the same way US social media does, but because they can’t influence it’s algorithm with congressional hearings or government contracts the way they do every other tech giant. That’s it.

A client gifted me some wool and a kit to try needle felting. She mostly wanted me to take time for myself to create. I’ll finish and transfer on a beanie then donate to our local flag (free little art gallery). Hope someone likes rainbow pups!

I’m trying to count the seconds between the lightning and thunder but I watched Poltergeist as a kid and now I won’t be turning on the tv today.

This is one of the craziest storms I’ve experienced since moving to Washington 20 years ago. Thunder, lightning, hail, rain, wind all to the extreme. Mother Nature is putting on a beautiful show.
