Just a microbe in the whole scheme of things.
My late mother was a stamp collector. I remember, as a kid, going with her to stamp clubs to look through stamps. However, I am more of a postcard person (specifically sent postcards, not "mint" ones).

Holy cow, the guy in front of me bought like almost $600 in groceries. Did he get the short straw this year to feed his entire extended family?

Yes, I know the "solution" is to grow your own food, but this is unreasonable. Everyone cannot be farmers. You need people filling all sorts of jobs in society and as a result, not everyone has the time or energy to grow food themselves.

And for someone like me who have lived in places were there were zero Asian grocery stores, that would mean that I could not buy any food at all and should have just starved to death because none of the food stores were owned by people of my ethnicity.

I also think she probably has some identity issues and trying to overcompensate, thinking that she wasn't Asian enough. But if you follow her reasoning, she shouldn't be at that grocery store either.

Specifically it was a half-white/half-Asian girl trying to intimidate white people out of an Asian grocery store because she thinks they don't belong there. This racist Karen behavior and I'm sure the grocery store owner did not appreciate her chasing his customers away.

Wow, that's the first time I'm hearing about that. I did not pay attention to those places so have no idea what goes on in there, but as someone who works in the blood transfusion industry where everyone is paranoid about infections, this unregulated stuff on the side is horrifying.

I wonder how one of my former college roommates would spin this. She’s half Asian and half Jewish and she and her brother went into the military and voted R.

Yeah, if an admin can’t schedule a meeting at a good time with 6 weeks notice, maybe they shouldn’t be an admin. Their time management skills leave a lot to be desired, and I’m being kind about it.

I just point blank tell people I can’t make it because of a conflict. If they really need to meet with me, they reschedule. People can’t just assume they have you at their beck and call.

Lemme tell you, this place is an experience. And the only reason I briefly dropped by was because I had a free ticket. When I was waiting to get in, there were these old ladies trying to convince the ticket person to let them in because they visited the market in the summer.
