So when authorities say “she tried to run over an officer,” that is not a neutral description. It is a claim of intent that can be used to justify lethal force after the fact.

Texas officials appeared to be almost entirely issuing vital emergency alerts about the deadly Kerr County flooding via Facebook and Twitter/X.

Utter malpractice to restrict these alerts to social media platforms that huge numbers of people don’t use anymore.

Comparing 28 US cities over 6 years, it found areas that installed protected lanes saw 𝟭.𝟴𝘅 growth in cycling vs painted lanes alone.
