What if your room could be restyled and turn into a 3D scene that you can step inside and explore?
Recently, I was invited to the early access of Marble by World Labs, letting users generate 3D worlds from just an image or text prompt and then move freely through the scene. Check it out!

UPDATE on “What if reality was your canvas?” Beyond just painting — what if you could create depth layers and then remix them?

P.S. I’ve published an essay on AI + XR synergy on my Substack (lnkd.in/eDgSwTCQ)

Wow! This Quest demo lets you paint over reality and see it in any style you want, turning it into your own canvas. So cool!

See, here’s the thing, we all have busy lives. We feel there’s so much to do that it’s sometimes hard to work on our dreams. But I’ll tell you what, try to make small improvements. It doesn’t matter how small they are, just improving or trying is so much better than overthinking everything.

I had the privilege of talking to @apnews.com about WIRED's Elon Musk and politics coverage.

Most important thing: We're not slowing down, we're not stopping, and we're going to cover this story, relentlessly, for as long as we need to.

Not known for political coverage, Wired takes a leading role in tracking Elon Musk's team
The tech outlet Wired set up a new politics team in time for the presidential election — but its most impactful work is coming after the election is over.

The last month, I spoke to nearly two dozen VR developers for @uploadvr.com about issues surrounding the Meta Quest store. Low sales, curation, discoverability issues, moderation policy, and the Horizon Worlds focus are chief among the concerns.

don't underestimate your subconscious need for a wide range of experiences

if you spend weeks doing the same thing in the same environment in the same way, you're at risk of forgetting the broader world of life, art, and people. it can get really isolating, and exacerbates burnout

Unfortunately, much of the coverage on DeepSeek and R1 is, frankly, bad. The stories tend to follow conventional narratives and miss the point. Instead, I recommend the following three things to read.

One, Ben Thompson's DeepSeek FAQ.
