A review of 80 studies from 27 countries finds cheating is positively associated with extrinsic and performance orientations and is less likely to occur when students pursue intrinsic and learning orientations, but cultural values moderate those effects.

Cell phone bans fail when not partnered with renewed focus on relationship building and collaborative learning. Learning will accelerate when collective creativity is developed to apply learned concept on real world scenarios e.g., UN sustainability goals.
81% of educators say student behavior is a top concern. Solutions like cellphone bans help, but they aren’t enough. Schools need real support so every student can thrive.
