In closing, you don't need a "Big Ten Enterprises" to fix the issues they have with volleyball. Show more matches. Sell more matches to other distributors. Women's sports is the in thing for advertisers- it shouldn't be hard to sell space. Market & promote better. All easy fixes.

The Big Ten's marketing and promotion of volleyball this year has been atrocious. The BTN controlled socials have done such a dog water job and that needs to change. BTN also had a presenting sponsor for a lot of matches in previous years, but none this year. Why??

Then there's how the Big Ten conference itself and the network operated. Lots of steps back imo. BTN would say that they have no lead analyst, but it's Ehman and she covered more matches for the SEC Network than BTN. The network having less matches is not great either.

Some bad, tho. Ohio State completely bottoming out is a sore spot for the Big Ten and there will surely be a coaching change there. Penn State's season quickly capitulating but they'll be making the tourney nonetheless. UCLA just not making much progress is concerning.

Lots of good stories, tho. Indiana's renaissance, Purdue's overnight rebuild, Oregon overturning everything and still being okay, USC capitalizing with its late season, Minnesota being snake bitten yet staying in the pocket as a good team in the league are all worthy of note.

Doesn't change the concerns for the Michigan defense. Ohio State keeps plucking them on third & fourth down and Martindale is not adjusting at all.
