Still sippin'
I'm glad the American media had fun with making Livvy Nuzzy think she was on some Lana Del Rey shit for a minute because she wrote a book about fucking the Kennedys' weird iguana offspring, but the time has come for everyone to shut the fuck up about it.

Nintendo announces major investment into Dolphin, the popular emulator which cannot and will not run any official Nintendo GameCube ROMs, and will send 20 FBI agents to your location if it finds "Super Smash Bros. Melee (USA) (En,Ja) (Rev 2).iso" on your hard drive.

I don't need to see anything more about Sam Altman. I am already aware that he needs to be dealt with. You could not tell me he sucks in a new way.

Refusing to buy anything on Black Friday or Cyber Monday not because of a boycott or anything, but just because I want to help make the economy look as bad as possible.

One of the songs in the new Katamari features vocals by someone I can only describe as "Japanese Bruce Dickinson" and it takes me out of the game every time.

In the past I was a big apologist for Tool, but I have slowly come to terms with the fact that they've never made a perfect album.

They *could* have, if Lateralus had the production of 10,000 Days, but they've never managed to get the perfect sound and consistently good songs for a whole LP.

Ah. All rested up. Ready to start demoing some new songs. I love writing music. And now it is the time for my favorite part: installing a bunch of software updates.

Now that sufficient time has passed to consider the revelation that the three are supposed to be a trilogy, I guess would classify each entry in the QotSA trilogy as follows:

Like Clockwork: Fuck it
Villains: Fuck them
In Times New Roman: Fuck you

Some days, you think that if you just get up and force yourself to do things it will get easier, then it doesn't.

I don't care what Microsoft says, all of the new Office app icons were clearly made with some kind of shitty AI image generator and they all look like mud butt

I bet if they can find just a few more handwritten notes that say "Donald Trump was doing pedophile stuff with me, Jeffery Epstein" that will be all the evidence they need to make the president stop doing crimes.

Steven King's 11/22/63

I don't care about the representation of the actual assassination all that much, but I still constantly think about the time travel mechanic in that book. It was such a fun read.
performative reading, lack of reading skills, nobody's reading anymore -- NO!

tell me about a book that changed you

for me? the *extremely* ahistorical novel, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY which I read at 13 and was like, "Oh, art can be *everything* to a maker, for good and bad"

Getting the operation where they take out my brain and dump a bunch of gravel in there so I can get rich as hell and shape media narratives at a major broadcast news organization.
“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.

My uncle works at the banks and he said they're actually not running out of money. And he's going to bring home some money 2, which they have now.

This is true. I remember when they were fighting healthcare in 2024, 2020, 2016, even 2012. Hell way before that. They've been working on this for my whole life.

Oh, fighting "for" healthcare. Okay well hang on a second...
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Oh you saw an awful opinion column and it upset you? Maybe you should consider not giving money to the NYT instead of trying to make it my problem!
November 6, 2025 at 4:58 PM
Weird how much of this site's "discourse" is just people outing themselves as NYT readers.

Comedy is such a strange creative field because so many genuinely funny and good people have put so much work into writing good jokes and yet nothing you could ever say is nearly as funny as that video of a guy throwing a brick into an old clothes dryer.
