To this day, this is still one of my favorite game ads. It's clever and charming, without being, well... mean or flat-out creepy like so many of the ads from the turn of the millennium were.

The mall during extended Christmas hours is awesome. It's peaceful. I wish the mall was always open this late. Extended hours during the holidays are probably doomed here. It doesn't seem like there are enough people taking advantage of it to be worth it.

A palmtop obscurity: the Handy 98 (1990).
Despite the 98 branding and coming from NEC, this was not in fact PC-98 compatible but runs DOS 3.1, something I've read left many buyers in Japan feeling scammed.
I've watched a video on it and the keyboard looks awful, tiny little rubber things.
