This is a major wake up call for everyone... All of our Pacific ports are basically shut down because no large ships are incoming.

My house after the storms 2 weeks ago. Hopefully the Tree guys we hired can get it cleared by the end of the weekend. Who knows how much Insurance is going to pay, but it's several thousand dollars worth of clean up.

We just got Power and Internet back today, a storm ripped through our property and took down multiple trees and a few telephone poles.
Against all probabilities, our house, cars, and outbuildings sustained no damage.
We are however looking at a 10K+ bill for tree removal. Bah!

Due to staffing shortages, the National Weather Service in Jackson no longer has overnight staff. But NWS and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear say the office was staffed Friday night and early Saturday.
