Someone told me once that regardless of degree completed, a "Physicist" is just one who studies physics. In that context, I like to think of myself a physicist moreso than any of my other professions or skills. Which are humorous in number at this point.
She doesn’t deserve to walk freely. Via her position at DHS and the control of ICE she has waged war against the United States, which is the legal definition of treason. Do not be afraid to accuse her of what she has brazenly done.

I coexisted in that weird period between the 5 and a quarter and the 3 and half, and I can confirm we just called them "floppies" Hell, I remember forcing them to coexist on Windows XP for no other reason than "because I can." I once did the same with Netscape, Firefox, and IE at the same time.

What happened, and what has been happening, was unjustifiable. It was unambiguously cold blooded murder, and everyone, from the agents on the ground to the highest echelons of command need to be detained and awaiting trial. I don't care what you personally have to do to accomplish that. Get it done.

The spouse and I were talking the other day about which ones we thought were most reliable, and the highest ranked were all non-profits. The AP, ProPublica, and of course NPR, but we also frequently find sticking points with even those.

I wonder, as other nations begin to establish trade relationships that exclude the U.S. if they're not positioning to remove the dollar as a global standard currency, and thus currently are treading lightly in a cloak/dagger sort of way. Which would be pretty devastating.

When I migrated to bsky I gave up on the microblogging cyber/hacker community. Some are cool, so I've kept contact with them because they're cool people. But otherwise, I haven't followed that many here.
