There is not a lot of time. “Things To Do” engulf every moment. I eschew them sometimes. The moment is the purpose.

My art: syuzhet.com
I can access deep emotions and beyond-my-years wisdom during the metamorphic practice of art. I synthesize insights that are simple, yet complex and defined, yet abstract.

JK - it's not that deep. And this is some stan art

These vector characters have taken me about 2 hours each.

Six hours feels like a lot of time - is it?

I'm going to say they are eerie. What do you think?

I did them one at a time. I'm curious - if you were to guess, which one did I do first, second, and third?

Suggestions for improvement?

Bones is a study of asymmetry and decay. Although he is missing chunks of flesh and has a lumpy, misshapen countenance, he is content. His hands hug a friendly rock glass. You might could sit for a drink and exchange some stories. #artsky #surreal #charcoal #syuzhet syuzhet.pages.dev/2025/06/24/a...

Friar Laurence - a man of peace and humility - advised the rash: "Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast." But by Act 3, when his reckless actions caused tragedy, he became the rash one, "I do spy a kind of hope... if thou darest, I’ll give thee remedy." #artsky #charcoal #sketch #shakespeare

We're mid-way through the 2008 salmon season in Prince William Sound. The fleet's been lined up for sets, waiting for Barwell to offload. syuzhet.com/2025/05/13/i... #salmonfishing #Alaska #PrinceWilliamSound

How things vanish is fascinating. Although on a macro scale, things cycle through forms - water, #fashion, the material of the bodies we wear - on a micro scale, things simply vanish - a person, a leaf, or a snail. #writing #ThrowbackThursday #amwriting #memoir #personalessay #90sNostalgia #syuzhet

I needed a break, so I indulged in a little recreational reptile creation at my work station. #sketch #charcoal #lizard #reptile #syuzhet

I present "b-team" figures with exaggerated, asymmetric features assembled in a silent tableau facing house-left. Each vertical piece, marked by subtle blue and red rule-lines and handwritten notes, balances chaos with history with somber whimsy. #art #drawing #sketch #charcoalsketch #misfits

The hues darken waveringly, like vision when eyelids inch together before sleep. Then, searing bright flashes. Their gaze connected with mine. Their mirthful eyelids framed entreating green irises. They held eye contact, innervating my body, skin to bone. #poem #love #passion #cssanimation

I don’t know who to credit for originating this, but, I sure would like to give them a round of a-paws.

"Adh D." is an acrylic self-portrait. My lidless green eyes and exposed pink brain dominate the canvas. Lollop-pop ears connect behind my eyeballs. With a large nose and thick lips, I am a perceptual machine, perpetually ingesting. #art #acrylic #painting #adhd #autismawareness #april1st #stayhuman
