Four photos from my walk yesterday. Red & brown gradient lens filters w/my Nikon D5600. I am slow to do everything & walks w/me are at a snail’s pace so I can look all around at things. I especially love puddle reflections.

I’ve been playing with some lens filters with a nice color gradient on them for photography & I could not be happier. I have some really intense solid color filters coming as well & cannot wait to try them.

Happy day of gratitude from B Dalton. He’s still in our garage. No one has claimed him. He has a heated pad & water dish, plenty of food, & is full of purrs. Hopefully we can get him a vet appt soon & can figure out next steps. What a sweet soft gentle boy.

We spent the day in almost total silence with our headphones on, humidifier on, painting on our own projects while facing away from one another. Now we’re making pizza. I love this creative, caring, gentle life we share. The cats are fed and warm. Tomorrow AM back to the gym. 🖤

Like what do you even do?! Idk how to proceed either bc I can’t imagine abandoning an animal in need but were absolutely tapped out on being able to afford vet bills/Rx food for 2 of our cats. I am so glad that little baby found you & I feel your anguish over this.

Found them. This was 6 months after I shaved my head the last time in 2021. My barber asked if I'd let him style it & of course I said yes. The slicked hair made me lol, the other 2 pics are how I style it. Real Egon Spangler business. Now I think I wanna shave my head again.

My husband, Dracula, is the coolest. I forgot about these boxes he made for #HeroQuest expansion packs he’s had since the early 90’s (a childhood friend gave him) sans boxes. He created the interior structures too! Just an absolute dreamboat. Gosh, I <3 him. #TTRPG #tabletopgaming #DIYorDie
A wooden box picked up from a craft store with hinges on the back a side and a small metal closure to hold it shut on the opposite side. The box is painted purple with the words HERO QUEST along the top in gold with a grey stone like bit behind it. In the center is a bit with an image from the original Hero Quest expansion pack design for Return of the Witch Lord. I don’t play, so stick with me here. It looks like there is a muscle bound barbarian looking person in a red furry sexy lil loin cloth and no shirt. They are straight up nips out. They also have the same Bettie Page blunt bangs dyed black bob I had for years. You can’t see it here, but in the original art by Les Edwards this big angry person is kneeling in some equally flirty furry boots and they’re chained with shackles to the floor of what sort of looks like an arena for fighting. In the background is a dual sided staircase leading up to a platform with a pretty horny leering royal looking skeleton sitting on a throne. They’re leaning forward like they are really enjoying what they see here. This painting is equal parts sexy and scary. Real fearboner territory. It was painted with acrylic paint by hand by my husband, @dunstonchecksin.bsky.social, in 2023 or 2024. He is truly the total package. The interior of the purple wooden box laid wide open in a two photo collage. The top photo is a close up of the deeper interior where he holds some of the larger expansion pack pieces with a foam stone wall (he also made himself) painted like grey stone that cordoned off the minis. They’ve got a big ol’ axe in their hands and a sword in its sheath on their belt. On the left is what looks like an orc. It’s all green with a blue blouse on. Super casual like they were on their way to a Tinder date at a cafe but came across a LARP event at the park by the train station and got distracted. Our big baddie is this sort of stone or sand or golden behemoth. I am honestly unsure of whether it is absolutely as the day it was born naked or if it’s wearing clothes the same color as it’s body-ody-ody. All I can tell is that it has a real Skeletor coded BDSM harness with a lil skull on it like a proper weirdo on and a helmet with what looks like flat horns? Their gaping maw is wide open with sharp teeth and those paired with the grabby hands says, “C’MERE SEXY LET’S TUSSLE LIKE CAPTAIN KIRK.” Again, that Dracula is something else isn’t he?
