10m around the cross eyed shire, lots of cloud at the top, zero deer but lots of friendly dogs.

Set me up nicely to get drunk as a lord later.

Manky looking '92 Guerilla comp because I was feeling nostalgic, which is very unlike me. Some have aged well, others not so much. Designers Republic design, too.

A longish drive last night means I'm about 60% through this and it's *mint* - there are SO MANY barely remembered bits of mixes that that had a beefy Pavlovian effect on this aging, addled mind and brought it right back: clear eyed and tinnitus free to year X, place Y.

Had this on big headphones during an extended, freezing walk in the dark, dark woods last night and, boed i Dduw, it's an incredible zero fucks reading. 1954, but as brutal and beautiful now as it was then.

The Mastermind (2025)

I loved it. Production design and pacing of the '70s when it's set. Starts off all The Hot Rock, then goes veeeery not.

And has Rob Mazurek doing his best Miles/Lalo of the era on a soundtrack I am after as we speak, 'cos it's HOT.

Van Halen's video for 'jump' is incredibly poor quality. It must've been done before the song went big.

Little sleep,so went out to feed the thuggish, aristocratic swans who were entirely ungrateful.

Did listen to the new SML and Mackaya McCraven albums on the ever nuts @intlanthem.bsky.social both of which cheered me up immensely.

I'm going out out this afternoon, so apols JQ.

Shreddies gave away a hemispherical rubber popper thing that you turned inside out and it popped up in the air. To entertain my sister I attached it to the centre of my forehead which left a perfectly circular lovebite when removed. I was 16 and had a date with a girl that night. Didn't go well.
What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? I don’t mean “cheating on your partner” stupid, I mean stupid stupid. Like, once, I had this bubble bath which smelled absolutely delicious, so I took a big glug of it. That kind of stupid. (It did not taste delicious.)
