A source familiar with this incident told me today that not only did they arrest and charge the comedy club manager, but the Latino man he was defending from ICE -- who was also arrested and whisked away -- **is also a U.S. citizen.**

We shouldn’t accept the framing of “job losses are due to AI, not a slowing economy”. As its advocates often point out, if AI is truly making the economy boom, it should be producing sufficient replacement jobs in other areas.
