I've done a lot of adulting today: booked flights to Palmy and Welly, organized a number of hui, got hair cut and did this to Coach to stop him licking a shaved leg ( it's raw from his attentions)

Hearing aids for almost two weeks and NO reduction in tinnitus despite adjustments made by audiologist last Friday. I have been wearing all day everyday
I'll give it another 2 weeks & if no improvement, will trigger the 90 day $ back clause

The latest stats show around 44% of people on Jobseeker support are in the health condition or disability category. They literally can’t currently work, but would if they could, if and when they get better. (There’s a separate Supported Living payment for those not expected to get better. None of this is as fair, sensible or dignified as it should be.)

#nzpol The government has announced that 18/19 year olds, who live in a household where the parents earn $65,529 or more, can't claim jobseekers support. If both parents work 27 hours on the minimum wage - $634 a week - they will be expected to now financially support their adult offspring. A 🧵

tackling inflammation is the secret weapon BUT that requires SO MUCH EFFORT😭
I have a compression suit and resentfully eating an anti-inflammatory diet and I'm not happy but it seems to be working. Still, it wasn't until surgery that the real shift happened

I have not worn shoes other than orthotic sneakers for nearly a decade. Now that I have normal ankles and calves, I am looking forward to wearing some of my old favourites like these below
