He's perfect

I've been stitching for like 6 years straight now and this'll be my first cone. So, you're probably fine for a while, lol.

It's DMC 310 (black) 6 strand embroidery thread that weighs in at 100 grams and about 450 yards. And it is shaped like -the cone-. It's good to have if you've been in deep on embroidery because everyone runs through black so fast and a regular skein is only like 8.7 yards.

I'll have to see if Starlight will restock before I run out. It looks like they have -the cone-.

Unfortunately I don't think I can justify the price of the gigantic cone yet 😅 but I'll take a look at the shop, thank you!

Usually stuff about movies and books. Sometimes political and sociological stuff when I can stomach it. Of course it dips into straight up drama sometimes 😅 Recently it was a Thomas Flight video on art vs. artifice and a Girl On Film deepish dive on the film genre of feminine revenge.

I usually watch video essays and commentary channels on youtube.

Oh, yeah, it might. This is a small pattern so it would be worth giving it a go and see if you like it better. My perspective is a little skewed. I've stitched everything on 18 or 20 ct for a few years now. It's really neat to see your stitching and I hope you stick with it.

Yeah, nothing quite like calling into question your ability to count to do you in. But if you're struggling, then go slow. It's a slow craft. Recount as many times as you need to.
