Whenever someone tells me they're pleased to meet me, I say "Give it a minute."

Its sister game, Rocketmen, was fun, too. Space ships and asteroids, in the same TCG format.

Thee’s a sushi joint in town called Kung Fu Sushi. Do the owners know that’s like opening a restaurant called “Mafia Schnitzel”? Just because two things are from the same continent, that doesn’t mean they belong together.

I mean, obviously Trump is an existential threat, and needs to go, but if the Democrats hope to get rid of him before he leaves the WH in a box, they need to get rid of their useless leadership.

Chuck Schumer is useless and needs to be replaced.

Dear Prime Minister @mark-carney.bsky.social , Canada Post is a governmental service, not a business. It shouldn’t have to be any more “viable” than the Fire Department, the Armed Forces, or the RCMP. Door-to-door mail delivery is in the public interest. You were elected to serve, not to gut.

7 word review of Weapons:
I don't want to see Barbarian anymore.
tassie.bsky.social
Just saw Weapons. It had some very talented actors in it. I wish I could say anything better than that about it. That script isn't worth $38, let alone the $38,000,000 the writer/director was paid for it.
Fortunately he never has to work again.
Unfortunately he will.

I’ve really been enjoying building stuff for Gaslands. I made/modded everything on this table. You can’t make it out in the photo, but the ramp with the red writing on it says “domestic flights” with an arrow pointing to the edge.
A race course set up for Gaslands. Toy vehicles kit-bashed with a variety of different weapons and other bits, with an assortment of homemade terrain pieces like numbered gates, concrete barricades, ramps and bunkers.

Far too much talking from the nazi at the end of the video. Not enough punching from the class.

I have heard about more instances of the US government shutting down (or narrowly avoiding shutting down) since Trump first took power in 2016 than I ever did in the rest of my life. It's almost as if he's terrible at governance...

I have played 28% of the current BGG top 100 games. That’s down from 30-something % a few years ago. There still isn’t much in the top 100 that I really want to try.

The creativity of the group is almost always better than the creativity of one. I always listen to my players’ wild theories, and they’re almost always better than what I had planned. Plus it grants them that “see! I knew it all along!” moment, without them realizing it was their own damn plan!

I legit thought it was Sasso doing satire when I first saw the picture.

Played some Thunder Road: Vendetta last night and some TRULY ridiculous driving lead one player to self-eliminate all three of his cars. One by flying off a ramp into a mountain, and his two remaining into the same pit trap. They were, of course, all on fire when they crashed. No, it wasn't me.

Just played two games of this tonight. Such glorious chaos!
