Accessibility is popular, it's rare I meet anyone who thinks it doesn't matter.

Usually it's the systemic failures that make us de-prioritize it, things like perceived tight timelines, low budgets, lack of resources.

Regardless, the future world is accessible. There's too many of us that want it

Bodies can suck. I’m working out so I can try to avoid reinjury/surgery for as long as possible. But also if I work out wrong I can reinjure myself and set on that path again. It’s a scam lol

The current comm issues with Bluesky’s team reminds me a lot of working in a space where we don’t have collective bargaining.

Our work benefits leadership, but we also don’t have effective lines of communication with Bluesky where we feel concerns are seriously addressed.

It's easy to say white supremacy is guys burning crosses or going to college campuses and saying that Black gang members are the primary problem with gun violence in the United States

It's harder to admit that it's in all the small ways folks allow people to devalue Black life on a daily basis

Suspension of accts from Bluesky has called into question the mission and very existence of Blacksky. "If bsky can still suspend you, what's the point?"

For one usually Bluesky doesn't just suspend you. They delete all of your data AND suspend you. Moving to Blacksky prevents that. 4/11

The way Jay pops up and speaks her mind on certain issues while remaining diligently silent on others makes it very hard to assume good faith.

People have an actual limit with the number of times in one week that the company's comms strategy can come off like "actually we are untrustworthy fucks who have no problem being racist to Black people and transphobic to trans people and wildly dishonest with artists who trust us with images"

A someone who has written extensively about the eugenic roots that permeates those who claim to be building so-called artificial general intelligence, I'm here to tell you to please NOT compare criticism against corporations claiming to build a machine god, with eugenics. The audacity.

if you're writing a sentence that sounds like eugenics but you go "oh that's fine to say because it's not a real person" (whatever that means) you may want to consider what made you okay with saying that.
